15th of October 2024 I have been introduced to a man and his wife Nigerian nationality by my Syrian friend who owns a restaurant in abuja and looking for an experienced expat who can join them to finish the mess that they have done trying to open a new Prestigious restaurant and lounge in wuse2 Abuja called Zaya and Ryan’s restaurant and sport lounge…
And indeed after a struggle of about 4 months in Port Hart-court also after I was working in a hotel owned by a Nigerian politician who convinced me to join him and resign from a very secured job in abuja where I used to work called Blake resort in Garki2 as Operation manager for more than a year by offering me heaven and earth and at the end I left his place with 90k ….
Within one month the place was totally ready and we did a grand opening on the 22 second of November…and it was a massive success
While I was now starting to hear from the owners that it’s not only my efforts but it’s their reputation that leads to that huge massive success while from 22 to end of November I have made revenue of 73 million naira net
And it was not appropriated with daily insults from the owner and the reason behind is to frustrate me and for me to leave or resign since everything fall into places and no need to pay someone like me anymore to run the place
The owners was determined to turn my life into an daily living in hell and more..
Creating issues up and down while I was working daily more than 18 hours and if I delay 30 minutes in the morning after a busy late night or early morning hours I will be insulted and I in front of everyone…
Later on indeed with the massive stress I have collapsed and sickness knocked my door while I had a hernia that affected my body and performance and I was advised to get an immediate surgery but I didn’t after the owners decided not to grants me am advance salary to proceed and only 300k was given to me to see what I can do amd the surgery cost more than 1.4m
I couldn’t walk properly or also moving around was a great pain for me…
Later on the 27th of Dec I wa calling everyone to help me do something cause the pain was extremely high no answer
28th of Dec a client that wanted to do an event with us called me and transferred to my personal account the balance after previously he paid deposit and my mistake was that I have not submitted the payment immediately and I was brought out from my room where I stay extremely sick to the police station in zone 3 wuse where he have power to ask anything cause of tribal related matters and they have beated up on my face and I have now lost hearing partly and stayed over night in a prison cell cause my account has limit of withdrawal and the man wanted to pay all the amount immediately thinking that I am going to runaway while it was not the case but for me I wanted to secure my 1.5 salary and get treatment after their intentions of not paying me was clear and I will face my destiny and face the street..
Second day I have completed the payment and whatever I have couldn’t submitted I signed an undertaking and a friend came and bailed.me out and I was left without a shelter or any money with me but 60k and even collected the phone that was given to me and they have forced me to record a video after beating and threatening to admit that I am a thief and scammer and post a publication destroying my reputation and my image so no one can hire me again as the owner has promised me before and that he will not allowing me working in abuja or nigeria and that I didn’t see anything yet from he is capable to do for me…
Is it fair …..is it allowed….is it possible Destroying someone future with determination
